Construction Supervision Consultancy for Improvement and Upgradation of Roads under NIDA (Funded by NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance – NIDA)
The NIDA Road Improvement and Upgradation Project is a key initiative under the Government of Assam’s flagship Asom Mala Program, designed to enhance road infrastructure and improve connectivity across the state. Covering approximately 207 km of State Highways and Major District Roads across eight packages, the project addresses structural deficiencies, poor riding quality, and geometric constraints.
United Engineers Alliances Pvt. Ltd. (UEA), in association with URS Scott Wilson India Pvt. Ltd. (URS), serves as part of the Construction Supervision Consultancy (CSC) team. The consultancy ensures strict adherence to MoRTH (5th Revision) and IRC standards while overseeing construction quality, safety, and environmental compliance during project execution.

Scope of Work
UEA’s scope includes:
- Field supervision and quality assurance during construction and maintenance phases
- Review of designs, drawings, and technical documents for road and bridge works
- Monitoring of contractor performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards
- Environmental and social safeguard compliance under Asom Mala guidelines
- Contract administration, progress reporting, and documentation
- Support in invoicing, staff mobilization, and technical coordination with lead consultants
Monitoring during Defect Liability Period (DLP) to ensure sustainable performance

UEA’s field teams and engineers are actively engaged in technical supervision and project coordination to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the implementation process.
