Improvement of Hamren–Linchika–Donkamokam–Tumpreng–Hojai Road (34.40 km) Under “Economic Lifeline Roads” in Karbi Anglong District, Assam
The project aimed to enhance regional connectivity by improving a vital 34.40 km road stretch linking Hamren, Linchika, Donkamokam, Tumpreng, and Hojai under the “Economic Lifeline Roads” initiative in Karbi Anglong District. This corridor plays a key role in promoting trade, mobility, and economic integration in the hill region of Assam.
United Engineers Alliances Pvt. Ltd. (UEA) served as the Lead Consultant, responsible for the survey, design, and preparation of a comprehensive Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the double-lane upgradation.

Scope of Work
UEA’s scope covered:
- Detailed topographical survey and alignment design
- Preparation of horizontal and vertical profiles
- Traffic and pavement design based on field data
- Bridge design with pile and well foundations
- Cost estimation and DPR documentation
The project was completed within the scheduled time, meeting all design and technical standards set by PWD (R&B), Assam.
