Project Overview

Improvement of Hongkram–Taradubi–Tumpreng–Phangtrengphang–Sildubi–Kheroni Road (51.00 km) Under “Economic Lifeline Roads” in Karbi Anglong District, Assam

This project focused on improving a key 51 km road stretch connecting Hongkram, Taradubi, Tumpreng, Phangtrengphang, Sildubi, and Kheroni — one of the most crucial links under the “Economic Lifeline Roads” initiative in Karbi Anglong District. The improved corridor has enhanced accessibility between remote hill regions and nearby commercial hubs, directly supporting local communities, trade, and tourism.

United Engineers Alliances Pvt. Ltd. (UEA) acted as the Lead Consultant, providing end-to-end consultancy services covering survey, design, and preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the double-lane upgradation.
